Never think of a coffee house that doubles a bookshop would be so bright? Open up your mind with this Kahawa project.
This house of coffee and books is located in Poznan, Poland. Designed by Atelier Starzak Strebicki, the place is full of light. Besides the lighting, colorful interiors and white walls take part in creating a bright place. No one will expect that the place used to be a milk bar. If you get the chance, visit the place and enjoy the milky vibe.
The place is divided into two zones. The large zone is the first zone you see when entering the place. It consists of a bookshop on the podium, a bar, and a café.
If you go far inside, you will see the second zone. It has a long wooden table with its upholstered chairs, suitable for collective feasting and meeting purposes. The zone partitions the restrooms and roasting area.
Several coffee tables are arranged in a large room along with some colorful and comfortable armchairs. Baby pink pots with living plants complement the blue chairs while the same color paint occupies some areas of the white walls. Moreover, a wooden bar and chairs extend along the wall on the side and face the street. While sitting on one of those chairs, people can enjoy the environment from the window.
Some natural potted green plants decorate the room. Go up to the podium, and you will find a collection of books enjoyable to read while sipping a cup of coffee. Next to it, there is a long and large table that suits any gathering purposes. If you are lucky, you can see the roasting process from the clear window by the table.
The blue and pink accents are really suitable for this place. Wouldn’t it be fun if you read a book inside a colorful and bright coffee house?
